Shit, I ain’t perfect.
My feet are wide & calloused. Legs, covered with scars. Knees darkened. Hands with wrinkly fingers. Arms unevenly tanned by the sun. Elbows, ashy dry. Face far from babydolls & barbies. I know, I ain’t perfect. Inside & Out. But if you grab the chance to get to know me, you’ll realize these are the feet that will walk &stand by you. These are the legs that’ll make you realize no one’s flawless all over with porcelain skin. These are the knees that are willing to kneel down with you & pray through tough times. These are the hands that will reach out & help. These are the arms that are open to hug you. These are the elbows that will smack the faces of those that aggravate you. This is the face that won’t split in two, in front or behind you.
